no but listen i feel like half the reason the jedi order was so corrupt was because they were being led by someone who was literally born 1000 years ago and heavily resisted any changes whatsoever to the order

can you imagine if the leaders of the free world still operated on the values of THE MIDDLE FRICKING AGES???

suddenly yoda’s advice to anakin makes so much more sense when you take that into account. i wonder if there were any jedi besides qui gon who defied the council bc of something like

“hmmmm, looks ill your padawan does. need some leeches, do they?”
